Bianca Wenden

Graduate in French Studies from Oxford Brookes University following a first career in the yachting industry, Bianca is now an English teacher living and working in the principality of Monaco. Bilingual, passionate about the environment, travel and modern languages her time in the classroom is spent encouraging her pupils to reach their potential and most importantly keep their curiosity! 

As the mother of a nine year old girl and a teacher to young children she is committed to helping and encouraging young women and girls to follow their passions and not limit themselves because of gender stereotypes or social pressure. 

“I am often asked by students…Can girls be this? Can girls do that? I would always tell my pupils, of course you can! The sky is the limit! But how wonderful that with the Space Prize I can now tell them to reach beyond that sky!”
