The United Nations came has a sustainability goal that is focused on combating gender inequality and empowering women. Space Technology can help in achieving these targets, by providing access to quality education in remote areas, connecting communities that don’t have as many services, giving career opportunities in STEM, providing female entrepreneurs services that makes it safer and easier for them to develop businesses, and offering security to female students in remote areas in Africa. With these infrastructure improvements that can come from developing the space industry, women will be given better opportunities to improve their lives and achieve greater equality.
