Grace Wilson Jackson and Marie Villarreal are both enrolled in liberal arts education - and are both predominantly interested in space. They both got to love space through means other than majoring in science and technology. Jackson majored in peace and justice studies with a concentration of technology and science, and Villarreal studied political science but took astronomy courses. They both study these subjects so that they can help policymakers to turn great STEM ideas into reality. There will always be a need for better policy adaptations as technology progresses, and having liberal arts educated people with knowledge of science and technology will be of great help.
